Stainless Steel Balustrading - Ball and Socket Assemblies
DOWNLOAD THE BROCHURE HERE.
Balustrading Infill is supplied either as swaged assemblies (where the terminals are already crimped onto the wire by S3i Ltd), or as swageless (compression) kits (which can be fixed to the wire in site).
Both can be used with either Back Mounted or Surface Mounted Sockets.
Back mounting sockets can be used with plate or L section. Surface mounted sockets can be used when screwing directly onto wood (using a 3" woodscrew) or masonry (using an approprate fixing), and can also be recessed inside round or square section tube using a tube clip.
It is also possible to mount the Surface Mount Socket onto flat plate stainless steel by drilling an M6 female thread into the plate and using a countersunk M6x20 screw to secure the socket in place.
Surface mounted sockets enable you to anchor directly onto woodwork or masonry or flat faced stainless steel.
