Norseman terminals are an ideal replacement rigging fitting.
These fittings provide a fast and secure, yet highly corrosion-resistant end fitting for all types of wire rope rigging.
They are manufactured from marine grade 316 stainless steel.
Norseman terminals can be installed rapidly at sea, making them ideal fitting for emergency repairs.
Norseman terminals can be re-used, but you must ensure a new cone is installed.
Information
The Norseman terminal is made from stainless steel to marine specifications BS970 Part 1. The standard terminal can be used on 1x19 , 1x19 Compact and 7 strand stainless steel wire rope construction, using the appropriate cone design.
They are approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping in London and have an international reputation for quality, efficiency, versatility and safety.
When using swageless fittings, accuracy can be achieved first time, giving economy of labour and materials.
Inspections can be undertaken at any time simply by undoing the assembly. Terminals can be re-used but MUST have a new cone.
