Stainless Steel Wires on Garden Pergola

When the owners of this Amersham house undertook major extension work, it was key to enhance the connection between house and garden. The new extension added large sliding doors, so therefore view out over the garden was more important than ever. Following the extension, a wooden deck was built at the rear of the house.

On this deck, a seating area was created under an oak pergola. S3i Wire Kits were installed to provide a discreet yet robust support system for climbing plants.

The stainless steel wires provide the perfect support for a blooming wisteria plant, which acts as shade for the seating area in the summer months.

The installation of this pergola was one element part of a larger garden redesign by Sam Proctor.
