Made to Measure Balustrade Wire Install at Alexandra Palace

Due to open in February 2026, Summit: Ally Pally in London will offer an entirely new way to experience one of the city's most iconic landmarks. Set to provide a completely unique point of view over the capital, guests will be able to take part in guided climbs.

Combining 360 degree views of the city skyline, with storytelling offering insights on the history and significance of Alexandra Palace. Operated by Wire & Sky, the experience is set to become a standout destination for tourists and Londoners alike.

S3i were delighted to be approached by the team behind this attraction, contributing to the overall safety and performance of the installation.

We supplied 128 of our Made to Measure Surface Mount Balustrade Wires for this project. Using this wire infill in addition to the harness system within the balustrade made for optimal safety.

Our Technical Manager, Mark, led this project from the initial enquiry, through to delivery. He ensured that every detail was carefully considered and that timely supply of a bespoke product was achieved.

The launch of the Summit: Ally Pally experience has attracted national media attention from the likes of BBC News and The Independent.
