Halo 4 Launch Performance
Halo 4 Launch Suspended Light Sculpture
S3i produced a network of cables to bear the load of a large light sculpture for the Halo 4 launch performance in London.
The sculpture was required to be attached to a helicopter and flown above the Thames for the publicity stunt.
S3i designed a light-weight system comprising of 48 cables to suspend the structure.
The network of cables were capable of bearing a load of up to six tonnes, double the weight of the structure, creating ultimate safety.
The sculpture is possibly the biggest man-made structure ever to be given permission to fly over the capital city.
