Always ensure that any anchor point you use is strong and structurally sound, this will allow for adequate tensioning of your shade sail.

Shade sails are normally positioned with one corner lower than the others (roughly 30 degree angle), once correctly tensioned this will allow rain water to run-off. If canopies are not taut enough rain water will accumulate in the centre, which may damage your canopy.
