Sta-Lok Turnbuckle Body - UNF Thread

These standard closed body turnbuckles are manufactured in the UK from high quality 316 stainless steel tube with a polished finish.
Closed body turnbuckles are used to tighten or adjust tension on a wire or cable. Each turnbuckle consists of two threaded rods that are connected by a body, which encloses the mechanism for adjusting the tension.
Turnbuckles have UNF threads and are designed for 3mm (1/8") up to 10mm stainless steel wire.
The closed body design offer several advantages over open body turnbuckles.
Firstly, the closed body protects the internal mechanism from damage caused by environmental factors such as dust, moisture, and corrosion.
Secondly, reduced risk of injury as there are no exposed threads or nuts that could cause cuts or bruises.
Lastly, the closed body provides a sleeker and more streamlined appearance.
Closed body turnbuckles are commonly used in a wide range of applications, including marine, construction, and rigging industries. They are often used to adjust tension on sailboat rigging, steel cables, and wire ropes.
Available in a variety of sizes and configurations, including jaw and wire rope types, and can be used with a range of end fittings such as hooks, shackles, and swivels.
