Bought this as a replacement hook for my dog's lead. It is strong and should withstand being dragged through the sea/sand/mud. It's not too big or too heavy - except when you accidentally whack your hand with it! Being a fixed eye type, I'm hoping it will last longer than an swivel eye type.
