Each Square Handrail Kit comprises of: 40mm x 40mm Profile Stainless Steel Handrail, Stainless Steel End Caps (fitted), Stainless Steel Adjustable Angle Brackets and Fixing Screws.

Installation Advice

Need some help? Download and print our installation advice sheet for this square handrail with adjustable brackets.

You can mount your handrail to the height that suits you best.
Our recommended mounting heights are based upon the industry standard.

If mounting your handrail on a flat level we recommend a height of 1100mm from the floor to the top of the handrail.

For inclines we recommend a height of 900mm from stair to top of handrail.

Handy Tip

Our installation team have a few handy tips which should make the installation process quick and easy:

A. Measure and mark the fixing point of the first bracket then simply drill your pilot hole, insert your rawl/wall plug and attach the bracket - Do not fully tighten at this point.

B. Attach remaining brackets to the handrail. Connect the handrail to the fixed bracket.

C. Now swing the hand rail up into the position required and mark the fixing points of the remaining brackets (using a spirit level or tape measure).

D. Once you have your bracket positions marked, simply remove the handrail an install your remaining brackets to the wall surface, ensuring they are all securely fixed in place.(see bracket installation below).

E. Finally attached handrail in place.

Bracket Installation Advice

1. Dismantle your bracket by releasing the grub screw on the underside of the stem. Drill pilot holes and insert your rawl/wall plugs and fix handrail bracket mounting plate in place.
Slide the bracket stem onto the mounting plate and secure in place with the grub screw using a hex head key. Position handrail in place and secure using the screws provided.

2. Height adjustment is made by the grub screw on the underside of the bracket stem.
